The Houston Astros got themselves back into the World Series with a 4-1 win Friday night in Game 3, but the Washington Nationals still hold a 2-1 lead heading into Game 4 at Nationals Park.
Timely hitting was the story in Game 3, as the Astros went 4-for-10 with runners in scoring position while the Nationals were hitless in 10 at-bats. Second baseman Jose Altuve had two doubles, outfielder Michael Brantley had two RBI singles and the Astros bullpen pitched 5 ⅓ scoreless innings to secure the win.
It's the first time since 1996 that the road team has won the first three games of the World Series.

Left-hander Patrick Corbin (14-7, 3.25 ERA) gets the start for Washington. He's made six appearances – and two starts – in the postseason, giving up 11 runs in 14 ⅓ innings. Corbin pitched a scoreless inning in relief in Game 1, picking up the hold.
The Astros will open with right-hander Jose Urquidy (2-1, 3.95 ERA) in what's going to be a bullpen game. Urquidy has made two appearances in the postseason (one run in 4⅓ innings) and is expected to be followed by Brad Peacock.
