How To Accept Privacy Policy On PS4 – Sony recently updated its privacy policy for users, which inadvertently lead to a number of issues signing into PSN yesterday. While that now appears to be sorted, a lot of people are still unsure of how to accept the privacy policy on PS4. Follow our guide and you’ll have it sorted it no time.
How To Accept Private Policy On PS4
Your PS4 should automatically inform you of the new privacy policy when attempting to log in to PSN. When it appears, you should know the drill; just scroll down and hit ‘accept’ like you would normally do. However there’s a chance that the privacy policy may not appear.
If this is the case, simply head over to your Friends list or Profile, and this should prompt it to appear.
That’s not all though. In some cases, you’ll need to have the Family Management accept the new privacy policy on PS4, which is done by the following steps:
- Log in to the Family Manager Account
- Go to Settings and then Family Management
- You will then be asked to accept the Terms of Service and to log into PSN
- Reboot your PS4
Alternatively, some folk are reporting that they are unable to scroll down when attempting to accept the privacy policy, either by using the analogue stick or D-pad. If this is the case, then try disconnecting from the Internet on your PS4 and logging back in.
