Atascosa County Christmas Elderly Project Target 2021 commonly referred to as ACCEPT in the past is updating their focus.
The board has noticed an increase in groups around the county fundraising and providing toys for children over the past few years, in efforts to help make Christmas a happy time for them. At the same time, the organization also saw a growing number of elderly in need, many taking in grand- children, thus the need to redefine the focus of ACCEPT 2021. Please note they have changed the “E” in ACCEPT to reflect this.
ACCEPT 2021 plans on providing a small food basket and food vouchers for our elderly residents in need. They will continue to set up at various locations around Atascosa County to take applications to reach as many Atascosa residents as possible. Additional information as well as locations, dates and times will be published in the Pleasanton Express as well as their Facebook page, Atascosa County Christmas Elderly Project Target 2021.
Financial donations can be made out to ACCEPT and mailed to: ACCEPT 2021, c/o St. Andrew Catholic Church, 626 Market St., Pleasanton, Texas 78064.
