While I respect the Office of the President, I do not respect the current occupant of that office. As a retired member of the FDNY, I would ask the brothers if they would follow him into a fired structure -- purely a rhetorical question, as he would never voluntary put himself in a selfless situation in place of his self-serving history to date. I served, as many of my co-firefighters had, in the military. And he, as his grandfather, had not when called for by their respected countries. Heel spurs? My Irish bottom.
My question to my fellow Islanders is, why do some of you follow him? Do you really accept what spurts from his mouth...the lies...insults...his self grandiosity and the topping of all this with comments made in Pennsylvania on COVID-19 testing, “...testing is overrated...you have more cases (of coronavirus) because of the testing...?”
Really? More cases because of the “overrated” testing? And you folks are comfortable in having him as head of state?
As the aforementioned would tweet: “Sad.”
