The Perry Public Library will begin accepting returned items Monday, June 1 in receptacles on the east side of the library.

The Perry Public Library will begin accepting returned items Monday, June 1, the library announced Wednesday.

Borrowers are invited to return items by placing them in the marked collection receptacles outside the door on the east side of the library.

There will be one container for books and another for fragile audiovisual materials, such as CDs, DVDs and audiobooks. Borrowers are asked to return items during the library’s curbside collection hours, Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Patrons with fragile or electronic items to return, such as hotspots, are asked to call the library at 515-465-3569 to arrange a curbside return.

Returned items will be quarantined for several days before being reshelved and made available to the public. For more information, call the Perry Public Library at 515-465-3569.
