The Rochester man charged with allegedly taking part in the riot at the Capitol Building on January 6th is open to a plea deal, according to his defense.
Dominic Pezzola pleaded not guilty to nearly a dozen charges including assault and conspiracy. He's accused of stealing a riot shield from capitol police and smashing a window at the capitol building.
In a motion filed by his defense, Pezzola seeks to make amends and accept responsibility.
Pezzola faces up to twenty years in prison if convicted.
He's due back in court next month.
