Grainger PLC said Thursday it raised 209 million pounds ($287.8 million) in a share placing at a small discount.
The U.K. property-investment company said it placed 67.4 million shares at 310 pence each, a 4.6% discount to its closing share price of 325 pence Wednesday.
Grainger said the placing was significantly oversubscribed with strong support from existing shareholders. The company had previously said it would raise up to GBP216 million to allow it to accelerate its private-rented-sector growth strategy.
