It seems like whenever you sign up for a new game or app, it asks you to read and agree to a novel-length legal document before you can play. And while these documents are important, it's rare that anyone actually reads them.
Most apps won't even let you progress until you accept the agreements. But Rocket League is a bit different — you can play the game's single player modes without accepting, but you'll be locked out of online multiplayer.
Luckily, this doesn't take much work to fix. Here's how to accept Rocket League's license agreements, even if you rejected them before.
How to accept the license agreements in Rocket League
First of all, if you ever turn on Rocket League and it asks you to agree to a new set of terms, you should accept them. The game will ask you to re-accept whenever the agreements change, so don't be surprised if this ever comes up when you launch the game.
But if you initially rejected the license agreements, you can find them again in your game's Extras menu.
1. Launch Rocket League and select Settings on the home page.
2. Scroll through the Settings tabs until you reach the last one, Extras.
3. Scroll down to Legal Agreements and go through the first three options: EULA, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy. You'll need to open each document, scroll through the page that opens, then click OK or Accept.
Once you've accepted the agreements, you should be allowed online. If online multiplayer still doesn't work, restart the game and try again.
