Michigan Clinches Share of 2021 Big Ten Men's Tennis East Division Title - Big Ten Conference

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The University of Michigan men’s tennis team clinched a share of the 2021 Big Ten East Division title Friday afternoon with a 4-1 victory at Penn State. The Wolverines earned their first Big Ten division championship to go along with 36 overall conference titles, most recently winning the title in 1996.
 
In 2021, the Big Ten men’s tennis standings are divided into East and West divisions that mirror those used in Big Ten football.  The East Division includes Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State and Purdue. The West Division is composed of Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Northwestern, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
