AMC Entertainment plans to accept bitcoin as payment for movie tickets by year's end.
All of the company's U.S. theaters will allow bitcoin payments for tickets and concessions, officials said.
AMC is seen as a meme stock because of its favor with retail traders on Reddit's WallStreetBets forum, CNBC reports.
