Romelu Lukaku is to return to Chelsea after Inter Milan accepted an offer of $135 million from the European champions for their Belgian star.
The 28-year-old was the Italian champions' MVP last season as they won the Serie A title, but financial issues have led to Inter selling Achraf Hakimi and now Lukaku as well.
A long-term contract for $14 million plus add-ons awaits at Stamford Bridge with the former Manchester United man rejoining the Blues after his 2014 exit.
The paperwork is yet to be signed and no players will be included in the deal, but Chelsea will land the prolific Lukaku to solve their striker search.
For Inter, there are more questions over the direction of their project with Lautaro Martinez also attracting interest and yet to sign a contract extension at Giuseppe Meazza.
