MARSHFIELD, Wis. (WAOW)-- The Marshfield common council voted unanimously on Tuesday to approve final plans for the city's new aquatic center.
The proposed plans were approved by the Board of Public Works last week, the plans can be viewed on page 11.
The council voted earlier this summer to not open the pool at all this year.
The new center would replace Hefko Pool which is 86-years-old and will have three slides, two diving boards, a climbing wall, concession stand, basketball hoops and much more.
More information about the project can be found here.
The hope is to have the pool open by July of 2021. If you're interest in making a donation for the project, that information can be found here.
