Inland football roundup: Norco, Hillcrest clinch at least share of league titles - Press-Enterprise

Kyle Crum threw three touchdown passes and rushed for another as Norco defeated King 42-0 on Thursday and clinched at least a share of the Big VIII League championship, the program’s first since the 2009 season.

Crum completed 15 of 21 passes for a career-high 284 yards.

Grant Grey caught seven passes for a career-best 186 yards and two touchdowns. Elijah Rodriguez hauled in four passes for 107 yards and a touchdown.

Kalani Kaleiwahea and Jacob Rosendahl each rushed for a touchdown for the Cougars.

Norco will look to make it an undefeated league championship when plays at Roosevelt on Thursday.

Hillcrest 35, Ramona 20: Manny Robert rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns and also caught two passes for 109 yards and a touchdown as the Trojans (4-0) clinched at least a share of the River Valley League championship. Hillcrest’s Camren Payne threw for 161 yards and a touchdown and also ran for 100 yards and a touchdown.

Norte Vista 63, La Sierra 6: Dominic Garcia threw for 190 yards and a career-high five touchdown passes as the Braves (3-1) won a River Valley League game. Carlos Patino caught a pair of touchdowns, and Jesus Carvajal ran for two touchdowns. Humberto Jara scored the lone touchdown for La Sierra (0-4).

Rancho Cucamonga 38, Chino Hills 0: Elijah “EJ” Wash caught two touchdown passes from Jordan Holmes and also returned an interception for a touchdown as the Cougars (2-0) won a nonleague game. Adrion Boyd rushed for 153 yards and a touchdown for Rancho Cucamonga.

Alta Loma 38, Los Osos 17: Trevor Tedesco threw two touchdown passes and also rushed for a touchdown as the Braves (2-1) won a nonleague game. Nicholas Pasquarella caught two touchdown passes and also kicked a field goal for Alta Loma. Cole Boop threw two touchdown passes for Los Osos (0-2).

North 42, Valley View 0: Tyler Speake threw three touchdown passes as the Huskies (2-2) won a Sunbelt League game. Ahson Elliott rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown and also caught a 32 yards touchdown pass. Dylan Riley rushed for 89 yards for Valley View (0-4).

Miller 26, San Bernardino 18: Andrew Ridge threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns as the Rebels (2-0) won a Mountain Valley League game. Oscar Fuentes Jr. caught a touchdown pass and ran for another for Miller. Luis Dominguez led the receivers with six catches for 106 yards and a touchdown.

Indian Springs 46, Rubidoux 14: Joshua Jones rushed for 180 yards and two touchdowns and also caught a 9-yard touchdown pass as the Coyotes (2-0) won a Mountain Valley League game. Andre Harris threw a pair of touchdown passes for Indian Springs. Mario Zelaya led the defensive effort with 18 tackles and a fumble recovery.

Claremont 26, West Covina 0: Isaiah Love and Ryan Campuzano each scored two touchdowns as the Wolfpack (3-1) remained unbeaten in the San Antonio League. Ricky Murrillo threw two touchdown passes for Claremont, which will host Chaffey on April 16 with the league championship on the line.

Chaffey 12, Don Lugo 0: Raymond Rodriguez rushed for 201 yards on 31 carries and scored a touchdown as the Tigers (3-1) won a San Antonio League game. Damian Tapia scored the other touchdown for Chaffey.

Etiwanda 34, Colony 2: Jordan Williams rushed for four touchdowns as the Eagles (3-0) won a nonleague game. Anthony Lucero kicked a pair of field goals for Etiwanda.

Citrus Hill 35, West Valley 13: Keon Gantt threw three touchdown passes to lead the Hawks (3-1) to a Mountain Pass League victory. Citrus Hill’s Skyler Mesa caught a touchdown pass and rushed for a touchdown. Citrus Hill travels to San Jacinto on April 17 with the league title on the line.

Santiago 21, Corona 14: Dominic Tubbs threw for 223 yards as the Sharks (1-3) won a Big VIII League game. Caden Siemsen caught seven passes for 130 yards for Santiago.

Ontario Christian 63, Western Christian 8: Hayden Siegers threw three touchdown passes and ran for another as the Knights (4-0) won an Ambassador League game. Andrew Montez has two touchdown catches, and Tyler Ford rushed for one touchdown and caught another.

Bonita 15, Charter Oak 14: Sean Jastrab threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Hunter Crosenbach with 33 seconds left to play as the Bearcats (2-1) won a Mountain West League game. Jastrab finished the game with 259 yards through the air.

Kaiser 30, Arroyo Valley 12: Trevian Tribble rushed for three touchdowns and also threw a touchdown pass as the Cats (2-1) won a nonleague game.

Serrano 35, Sultana 7: Jaishawn Wright ran for two touchdowns and also caught a touchdown pass as the Diamondbacks (3-1) won a Mojave River League game.

San Dimas 35, Northview 0: Jacob Buccola scored four touchdowns as the Saints (4-0) won a Valle Vista League game. San Dimas travels to Diamond Ranch on April 15 with the league title on the line.

Damien 34, Mayfair 0: Donovan Smith threw a touchdown pass and ran for another as the Spartans (4-1) won a nonleague game.

Riverside Prep 43, Silver Valley 0: Kamron Randell-Taylor rushed for three touchdowns as the Silver Knights (2-0) won a Cross Valley League game. Marquis Roby threw a touchdown pass and ran for another.
